It doesn't work with Empathy or Backfire, so I doubt it would work on spells like that, either. I think it's solely direct-damage spells, since it works on stuff like E-Surge, and on AoE DoTs like nukes (Savannah Heat, Tenai's Heat, etc).

Just tested it with SS. It has no effect on the damage.

Arggh. Then it probably won't have any effect on Sliver Armor either.

That makes it pretty irrelevant to my farming builds.

I'd love to have it changed to affect all the damage done by one's elemental spells.

I'm pretty sure it does, otherwise I must be imagining the extra dmg.

hmm. so the general concensus is yes on straightup damage and no on the, "when crap happens," skills...

if no on backfire, i'm guessing then no on ineptitude (that would've been awesome).

essentially then, it's an ele skill with some exceptions. i'd try it myself but or some reason i'm glued to the forum tonight. i just rage-quit like 2 threads i've left open so it's probably bed-time.

thanks for the info.

i'd have to imagine that sliver armor is a bug...if so, maybe so are other conditionals? who knows, we'll see.

if E-surge does more dmg, does it also steal more energy?

I doubt it. E-Surge still states that it burns 8 energy. It's the damage that is pumped.

Seriously doubt it. I think it's just the damage per point. You could try it though, don't feel like testing (would probably need scrimmage). I would say 99.9% no on that, though.

I have used intensity+glaive on my channeling rit to pull off close to around 250 damage I think. It was on target dummies though.
